Information we may collect

We may collect information you provide when requesting a quote, calling, emailing or starting a live-chat conversation. This can include your name, company, phone number, email address, suburb, facility details, requested service, the content of your enquiry and any photo you choose to upload for a graffiti-removal quote.

The website and its service providers may also process technical information such as browser and device type, approximate location, pages visited, referral source, timestamps, cookie identifiers and chat-session information.

How CIC uses information

We use information to respond to enquiries, arrange site inspections, prepare cleaning proposals, provide and improve services, maintain business records, manage safety or legal requirements, protect the website and understand how people use it. We do not ask visitors to provide sensitive personal information through live chat.

Live chat and Crisp

CIC uses Crisp to provide the website chat service. When the chatbox loads or you use it, Crisp may process chat messages, contact details you choose to provide, device and browser information, session data and cookies on CIC’s behalf. Crisp may process or store information outside Australia under its own privacy and security arrangements.

Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, health information or other sensitive information into the chat. You can contact CIC by phone or email instead if you prefer not to use the chat service.

Service providers and disclosure

CIC may provide information to service providers that support website hosting, email, communications, live chat, analytics, information technology, professional advice and business administration. We limit disclosure to what is reasonably required for those services or as required or authorised by law.

Storage, security and retention

CIC takes reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Uploaded graffiti photos are stored with the enquiry and made available only through CIC’s authenticated lead-management area; they may also be attached to CIC’s internal enquiry notification so the team can assess the surface and prepare the quote. Please avoid including people, number plates, confidential documents or other unnecessary personal information in a photo. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, business records, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations.

Access, correction and privacy enquiries

You may ask CIC to access or correct personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal exceptions. You may also raise a privacy question or complaint by emailing helpdesk@cicleaning.com.au or calling 1800 883 884. We may need to verify your identity before responding to an access or correction request.

Changes to this policy
